Thick paper pamphlet measures approximately 9” L X 12” H. This is a very rare 1989 program from the Premiere Benefit of Sir Richard Attenborough’s “Cry Freedom” on behalf of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Inc in Atlanta, Ga of which Attenborough was an honorary director at the time.The front cover contains 7 autographs written in metallic gold. There are two signatures I cannot make out on the left side. The other signatures included are (in counter clockwise order):
Richard Attenborough, actress (and then wife of Richard Attenborough) Baroness Sheila Attenborough (née Sim) along with the phrase “Good wishes”, actress Dame Penelope Wilton, Wendy Woods (whom Wilton played in the movie), and actor Kevin Kline.The back cover includes additional autographs from Richard Attenborough and what appears to be Sheila Sim. Item is protected inside plastic sleeve sheet with a thick white paper card behind it.some discoloring and light bending.
